Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne / Gift Box
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Moet & ChandonWine shop guy recommended it
Was looking for something nice for our anniversary and the bloke in the shop suggested this over a couple of pricier options. He was right — it's really well balanced, not too sweet, not too dry. The creamy bubbles are lovely. Would buy again.
The classic for a reason
Picked this up for a dinner party because you can't really go wrong with Moet. Nice crisp apple flavour with a bit of toasty almond underneath. Everyone enjoyed it and the gift box is a nice touch if you're bringing it to someone's house.
Makes any Tuesday feel fancy
My partner surprised me with this on a random weeknight and wow it turned a normal pasta dinner into an event. The citrus peel smell hits you straight away and it's just so crisp and refreshing. Finished the bottle way too quickly. No regrets.
Our go-to for New Year's
We buy this every NYE and it never disappoints. Really smooth with those little toasty notes and white flower hints that make it smell amazing. The finish just lingers nicely without being harsh. Worth every penny for special occasions.
Bit pricey for what it is
Look, it's nice Champagne. Crisp, appley, smooth finish. But I can't help feeling you're paying a chunk for the Moet name. The gift box is handy if it's a present though, saves you wrapping it.
Had this at a wedding and tracked it down
Tried this at my mate's wedding reception and really liked it so I found it online. That toasted almond flavour is so good and it's really easy to drink at 12.5%. Goes down dangerously well honestly. Great with nibbles or just on its own.
Perfect birthday bubbles
Got this as a birthday present and honestly felt so fancy opening it. The bubbles are super fine and creamy, and you get this lovely brioche-y toasty thing going on. At £45 it's not cheap but it really does feel like a proper celebration drink.
Good but not mind-blowing
It's solid Champagne, don't get me wrong. Citrusy and fresh with decent fizz. But for £45 I kind of expected to be more wowed? I've had Proseccos at half the price that I enjoyed just as much on a casual night in.
