Felix Moreau VIPsAllowed - Solid champagne, does what it says on the tin
8/10

Had this at a restaurant and liked it enough to grab a bottle from Waitrose. It's well balanced — not too sweet, not too dry, with decent bubbles and a clean finish. There's a slight almondy thing at the end that I really enjoy. Good all-rounder if you want proper champagne without going crazy on price.

Oscar Delgado VIPsAllowed - Our go-to celebration bottle
9/10

We crack open a bottle of this every anniversary and it never disappoints. Really lovely apple and citrus thing going on, with that toasty bread smell when you first pour it. At fifty quid it's not cheap but it's Moet innit, you know what you're getting.

Sophia Laurent VIPsAllowed - Decent but I expected more
7/10

Saw this on a menu and thought I'd treat myself. It's fine, there's some nice citrus and a toasty quality that makes it feel a bit special. But for £50 I kind of wanted to be blown away and I wasn't. The finish is pleasant enough with a bit of lemon zest but it doesn't linger as long as I'd like. I'm no expert though so take that with a pinch of salt.

Tiffany Nguyen VIPsAllowed - Nice but maybe not worth the price tag
7/10

Bought this for a dinner party because I wanted something everyone would recognise. It's good — crisp, clean, bit of lemon on the finish — but honestly I've had Cremants at half the price that I've enjoyed just as much. Would I buy it again? Probably not unless it was on offer.

James Okafor VIPsAllowed - Perfect for my sister's birthday
8/10

Got this as a birthday present and we ended up sharing it over nibbles. Really refreshing with a nice fizz, and I picked up some green apple flavours which I loved. The brioche-y smell is gorgeous. Felt properly fancy drinking it.
