Milan Nestarec Nach 2021
Red 14% ABV ABV Milan NestarecNice with food, less so on its own
Tried this on its own first and thought it was fine but nothing special. Then had it with some pasta and slow-cooked beef and it completely came alive. Clean finish that doesn't hang around too long. Worth the money if you're pairing it with a proper meal.
Good but not £30 good
Had this at a friend's house and thought it was decent. Nice structure and it opens up the longer you leave it in the glass, but honestly for the price I expected a bit more. I've had Nestarec wines I've liked more than this one.
Birthday wine that delivered
Got this as a birthday present from someone who clearly knows their stuff. The finish just lingers in the best way — made me slow down and actually enjoy it instead of just glugging. Went perfectly with a lamb stew I'd made. Proper grown-up wine.
Absolutely loved this bottle
This is exactly the kind of wine I want to drink more of. Poured it and immediately knew it was going to be good — so much character on the nose. The balance between fruit and acidity is spot on. Already ordered another bottle.
Really impressed with this
Bought this for a dinner party and it was a massive hit. Really expressive on the nose, you could smell it as soon as you poured it. Loads of fruit but not jammy, and the warmth from the 14% keeps you coming back. Would definitely buy again.
Solid natural wine
The guy at my local wine shop recommended this and I'm glad he did. It's well balanced with good acidity and the fruit is genuine, not overdone. At £31 it's not an everyday bottle but it's a nice treat for a Friday night.
Interesting and warming
Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered it because I've been getting into natural wines lately. It's got real complexity to it, like different things keep appearing as you drink. The alcohol is 14% but you don't really notice it, it just adds this nice warmth.
