Manon Boutillez-Guer Accent Tonique NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Manon Boutillez-GuerSmells incredible right out the bottle
Soon as I popped this open the aromas hit you straight away, really fragrant and confident if that makes sense? Taste is layered and complex without being heavy. My partner who normally sticks to prosecco said this was on another level. Pricey but we loved it.
Birthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my 40th and wow, it did not disappoint. Really lively bubbles, proper crisp acidity, and the fruit flavours just kept going. At over sixty quid it's not an everyday buy but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.
Proper Champagne this
Had this at a dinner party last weekend and went back to buy a bottle for myself. It's got a lot going on — fruity but not sweet, with a nice sharp acidity that keeps you coming back for another sip. The bubbles are really delicate too. Would definitely get again for a nice meal at home.
Nice but steep price
The wine shop guy recommended this as something a bit different from the usual big Champagne houses. It's good — really well made, lovely long finish, and the bubbles are super fine. But at £61.75 I'd want to be wowed and I think it falls just short of that for me.
Solid Champagne, nothing wrong with it
Picked this up after reading about smaller Champagne producers. It's well made for sure — clean finish, good structure, nice persistent fizz. I just feel like at this price point there's a lot of competition and it didn't quite stand out enough to make me rush back for another bottle.
