Valentina Ricci VIPsAllowed - Not really my thing
5/10

Got this as a birthday present from a mate who knows I like trying new stuff. It's fine but the sweetness is a bit much for me, even though it's not as bad as I expected. Might work better chilled or with a cheese board. Not something I'd buy myself though.

Victor Osei VIPsAllowed - Interesting but wouldn't rush back

Saw this recommended online and thought I'd give it a go. The nose is genuinely lovely — really clear and inviting. Taste-wise it's pleasant enough, fruity and well balanced, but at 14% it creeps up on you. Worth trying once but I've had better for the price.

Carlos Mendez VIPsAllowed - Nice surprise from Lindisfarne
7/10

Picked this up on a trip to Holy Island and honestly expected it to be a bit of a tourist trap bottle. But it's actually really nice — sweet but not sickly, and there's a proper structure to it that keeps you sipping. At £12 it's a solid buy for something a bit different.

Noah Williams VIPsAllowed - Good with food, less so on its own
6/10

Had this with some roast lamb and it worked really well — the acidity cuts through the richness nicely. On its own I found it a bit one-note but paired with the right meal it proper comes alive. Decent value at around twelve quid.

Astrid Nilsen VIPsAllowed - Lovely stuff for a dinner party
7/10

Brought this out at a dinner party as a talking point and everyone was into it. It's got a nice balance of sweet and dry, and the finish is clean without being boring. People kept asking where I got it. Would definitely buy again for when we have people round.
