Marcus Blackwell VIPsAllowed - Really impressed
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something different from the usual big brand champagnes. It's got this lovely clean finish that just keeps going. Blanc de blancs so it's all Chardonnay and you can really tell — very precise and elegant without being stuffy.

9/10

Bought this for our anniversary and wow. The bubbles are so fine and the acidity is sharp but not harsh — it just cuts through everything perfectly. At £105 it's not cheap but honestly it felt like a proper occasion wine. Would absolutely buy again for something special.

Picked this up for a dinner party after reading about Leclapart online. Everyone commented on how different it tasted from regular champagne — more expressive and honest somehow. The finish is lovely, really clean and it just trails off gracefully. At £105 it's a splurge but we split the cost three ways so not too bad.

Yuki Nakamura VIPsAllowed - Best champagne I've had in ages
10/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked where they got it. The complexity in the middle is incredible, layers of flavour that just keep unfolding. No added sugar either which I love. Already ordered two bottles for myself.

9/10

Treated myself to this for my 40th. So glad I did. It's got real structure to it but stays light and refreshing — I kept going back for another sip without even thinking about it. The Chardonnay really shines through. Special bottle for a special night.

Diana Cruz VIPsAllowed - Great but pricey
8/10

Look, this is a genuinely good champagne. Clean, precise, the finish lingers in a really pleasant way. But at £105 I keep thinking about whether it's twice as good as a decent £50 bottle, and I'm not sure it is. That said I'd happily drink it again if someone else was buying.

Derek Chang VIPsAllowed - Zero dosage and you can tell
9/10

I've been getting into grower champagnes lately and this Leclapart is the real deal. No dosage so what you're tasting is pure Chardonnay and terroir. The acidity is taut but balanced at 12.5% and nothing feels forced. Had it with some oysters and seared scallops — unreal pairing.

Isabella Rossi VIPsAllowed - Nice but not mindblowing
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and thought I'd splash out. It's well made for sure, very clean and the acidity is spot on. But for the price I was expecting to be completely knocked out and it was more like quietly good? Maybe I need to try it again at home without the markup.
