Laurent-Perrier Rose NV / Mr & Mr Tin
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Laurent-PerrierSaw it on a restaurant menu
Ordered a glass at a restaurant and liked it enough to buy a bottle. It's got a really direct fruity nose — you know what you're getting straight away. Pairs well with basically anything, we had it with salmon and it was lovely. The 12.5% ABV means it doesn't knock you sideways either.
Lovely gift tin too
Got this as a birthday present in the Mr & Mrs tin and it looked amazing. The champagne itself is brilliant — bright acidity, loads of red fruit, really well put together. Sipped it slowly and it kept getting better as it opened up. Proper treat.
Great rosé champagne, steep price
Had this at a friend's wedding and tracked down the Mr & Mrs tin version as a gift. It's properly good — clean, crisp, layers of flavour that keep coming. My only gripe is the price tag. At £82 you want perfection and it's close but not quite.
Bit pricey for what it is
Look, it's nice. It's a solid rosé champagne with good fruit and a clean finish. But at nearly £82 a bottle I expected to be blown away and I wasn't. There are Spanish cavas and English sparkling wines at half the price that come close. One for special occasions only.
The one that got me into champagne
A mate brought this to a dinner party and I've been obsessed since. It's so different from the sweet fizzy stuff I used to drink. Really balanced, fruity but elegant, and the finish just lingers. I've bought three more bottles since. Send help.
LP Rosé never disappoints
This is my go-to when I want to impress. Laurent-Perrier just know what they're doing with rosé. There's a real complexity to it — you taste different things each sip. Started with berries, ended up picking out something almost floral. Genuinely interesting champagne.
Perfect anniversary bubbles
Bought this for our 10th anniversary and it was absolutely stunning. The colour alone is gorgeous — proper salmon pink. Really fruit-forward on the nose but not sweet at all, lovely dry finish. Worth every penny of the £82 for a special occasion.
Recommended by the wine shop guy
Went in looking for a nice fizz for my girlfriend's birthday and the guy behind the counter pushed me towards this. Glad he did. It's really smooth and well balanced, not too dry not too sweet. She loved the tin packaging as well. Would have scored higher but £82 is a lot for us.
