Laurent-Perrier Rose NV / I Love You Tin
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Laurent-PerrierThe prettiest bottle I've ever bought
Got the I Love You tin for my girlfriend's birthday and honestly we were both blown away by the actual champagne inside. Gorgeous salmon pink colour, loads of strawberry and raspberry flavour, and the bubbles are so fine and creamy. At £82 it's not cheap but it felt really special.
Changed my mind about pink fizz
I always thought rosé champagne was a bit of a gimmick but this completely won me over. It's got proper depth to it, not just fruity but a bit savoury and spicy too. Had it with some charcuterie and it was absolutely perfect. The tin packaging is a nice bonus.
Our wedding champagne!
We served this at our wedding reception and got SO many compliments. It's got this beautiful berry flavour with a hint of something bready underneath, and it's incredibly smooth. Worth every penny for a celebration.
Great rosé champagne, lovely gift
Bought this as a thank you present because the tin is gorgeous. Wasn't expecting the champagne itself to be this good — really fresh redcurrant taste and it stays interesting right to the end. Would definitely buy again for a special occasion though probably not as a weekly treat at that price.
Nice but not quite worth the price tag
Had this at a friend's house and really enjoyed the strawberry and redcurrant flavours, super refreshing with lovely fine bubbles. Looked up the price afterwards though and I think there are rosé champagnes at £50-60 that get you most of the way there. Still a very good drink.
New favourite for special occasions
Saw this on a restaurant menu last year and fell in love with it, so tracked down the I Love You tin version for our anniversary. The berry flavours are so fresh and clean, and there's this subtle brioche thing going on that keeps you coming back for another sip. Dangerously drinkable for 12.5%.
Solid but pricey
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé champagne for a dinner party. It's really nice — fresh raspberries, good fizz, lovely long finish. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly wincing at £82. For a tenner less I'd give it a 9.
