Laurent-Perrier Rose NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Laurent-PerrierRecommended by the shop and no regrets
The guy at my local wine shop suggested this when I said I wanted a rosé champagne for an anniversary dinner. Really elegant stuff — clean finish that sort of lingers in a nice way. Not cheap but felt like a treat.
Christmas Day winner
Picked this up for Christmas Day and it went down an absolute storm. Even my dad who normally only drinks beer said it was lovely. The fruit flavours are really clear and it stays interesting as you drink it, like you notice different things with each sip. Already planning to get another for Easter.
Good but is it £77 good?
Look, it's a nice champagne. The fruit comes through clearly and it's well made, no complaints there. But at nearly eighty quid a bottle I expected to be more wowed. I've had proseccos at a third of the price that made me happier on a Tuesday night.
My go-to for dinner parties
I keep coming back to this one whenever we have people over. Pour it and everyone immediately notices — the colour is gorgeous and the smell is proper red fruit, like strawberries. It's complex enough to impress the wine nerds but easy enough to enjoy if you just want a nice glass. 12.5% so you can have a couple without falling over.
The pink champagne that actually delivers
Bought this for my wife's birthday and we were both blown away. The red fruit flavours are so fresh and clean, and it just keeps you coming back for another sip. Yes it's expensive at £76 but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.
Pretty decent, bit overhyped though
Saw this on a restaurant menu and figured I'd try the bottle at home instead for less markup. It's nice — fresh, fruity, well put together. But I've seen people rave about it like it's life-changing and I wouldn't go that far. Good champagne, just not sure it justifies the premium over something like a Billecart.
Solid rosé champagne
Had this at a friend's wedding and tracked down a bottle afterwards. Really well balanced — the acidity keeps it lively without being sharp. It's got this lovely lingering finish that doesn't just disappear. Would buy again for celebrations.
