Laurent-Perrier Rose NV Champagne / Magnum
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Laurent-PerrierPerfect summer garden party champagne
Cracked this open at a BBQ and it went down dangerously well. Really fruity nose, lovely acidity that cuts through food, and that creamy mousse is just gorgeous. Six of us polished off the magnum in about an hour which says it all really.
The best rosé champagne out there
I keep coming back to Laurent-Perrier Rosé and the magnum format is just next level for parties. The red berry flavours are so vivid and it stays fresh right to the last glass. If you're going to splash out, this is the one.
Really nice but big commitment
Got this for a dinner party with friends and everyone loved it. Proper strawberry and redcurrant taste, not too sweet, nice clean finish. Only thing is a magnum is a lot of champagne so make sure you've got enough people to share it with!
The wine shop guy nailed this recommendation
Went in looking for something impressive for my wife's birthday and the guy behind the counter pointed me to this. She absolutely loved it — said it tasted like fresh strawberries with a mineral-y edge. The magnum bottle looks incredible on the table too.
Worth every penny for a special night
Bought the magnum for our anniversary dinner and it was a massive hit. Beautiful pink colour, loads of redcurrant and strawberry on the nose, and the bubbles are so fine and creamy. At £170 for a magnum it's not cheap but honestly for what you get it's fair enough.
Reliable and always delivers
This is my go-to when I want rosé champagne that I know won't let me down. Nice wild strawberry notes, balanced acidity, clean finish. Not the most adventurous choice but at 12.5% it's easy drinking and consistently great quality.
Good but a bit pricey for what it is
Don't get me wrong it's a solid champagne with nice berry flavours and good fizz. But £170 is a lot of money and I'm not sure it's dramatically better than some rosé champagnes at half the price. Would I buy it again? Maybe for a really special occasion.
Saw it on a restaurant menu and had to find it
Tried this at a nice restaurant last year and tracked down the magnum for Christmas. It's got this lovely creamy texture with really fresh red fruit flavours running through it. The finish just lingers perfectly without being too much.
