Laurent-Perrier Rose NV / Best Mum Tin
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Laurent-PerrierOur go-to celebration champagne
We crack open a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Rosé every anniversary and it never disappoints. The fruit is so clean and precise, and it has this lovely long finish that just lingers. Had it at a restaurant years ago and been hooked since. The Best Mum tin is a brilliant gift idea too.
Nice but I expected more for the money
Don't get me wrong, this is a solid rosé champagne. Good acidity, clean finish, smells lovely. But at nearly £82 I was expecting it to blow my mind and it was more of a quiet nod than a standing ovation. I've had cheaper fizz that excited me more, honestly.
Perfect for our dinner party
Served this as a welcome drink at a dinner party and every single person commented on it. It's got a really inviting smell — fruity but not over the top — and it goes down dangerously easily. Worked great with the nibbles we put out. Would definitely get it again for entertaining.
The Best Mum tin is such a nice touch
Bought this for Mother's Day and the tin packaging made it feel really special. The champagne itself is gorgeous — properly pink, not that pale barely-there rosé you sometimes get. Beautiful fruit on the nose and it stays crisp and fresh all the way through. Worth every penny for a gift.
Picked this up for my wife's birthday
The guy at the wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something a bit special. Really glad he did. It's properly elegant — the bubbles are fine, the fruit is ripe but not sweet, and it drinks so smoothly for 12.5%. She absolutely loved it and now I'm in the good books.
Great rosé champagne but ouch the price
Look, this is genuinely lovely stuff. Really well balanced with nice acidity and layers of flavour that keep you coming back for another sip. But £82 is a lot of money and I'm not sure it's twice as good as a £40 bottle. Would buy again for a special occasion though.
Finally tried the famous LP Rosé
Kept seeing this everywhere and finally splashed out. I get why people rave about it now. There's a real complexity to it that unfolds as you drink — starts fruity and fresh, then these deeper flavours come through towards the end. Not cheap but it's a treat and the tin makes it feel extra fancy.
