Lovely but hard to justify the price
Had this at a friend's dinner party and it's undeniably good. Really clean and precise, proper grown-up champagne. But £209 is a lot of money and I'm not sure it's twice as good as a £100 bottle. Would happily drink it again if someone else is buying though.

Best champagne I've ever had
My wife got me this in the gift box for my 40th and I'm still thinking about it weeks later. The finish just goes on and on — I kept going back for another sip because it lingers so nicely. Genuinely complex without being one of those wines you need a degree to appreciate.

Worth every penny for a special night
Bought this for our anniversary and wow, it did not disappoint. Really elegant bubbles, and there's this layered thing going on where you keep tasting new stuff the longer you sit with it. At £209 it's obviously not an everyday bottle but for a proper occasion it's absolutely spot on.

The wine shop guy was right
Went in looking for something nice for Christmas and got talked into this. So glad I listened. It's got this confident, expressive nose that hits you straight away, and the acidity keeps everything really fresh and balanced. Not harsh at all for 12.5%. Already planning to get another one for New Year's.
