Noah Williams VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this as a birthday present to myself because life's short. The bubbles are fine and elegant, and there's this lovely ripe fruit thing going on that just keeps building. At £83 it's not cheap but honestly it felt worth every penny for a special occasion.

Idris Ibrahim VIPsAllowed - Best champagne I've had in ages
10/10

The wine shop guy recommended this over a couple of other vintage champagnes and he was spot on. It smells amazing right when you pour it — you can just tell it's been aged properly. Seriously complex stuff but in a way that's enjoyable, not pretentious. Already ordered another bottle.

Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed - Good but bit pricey for what it is
8/10

Had this at a restaurant and liked it enough to track down a bottle. It's well balanced with nice acidity and ripe fruit, and the finish is clean and long. But at nearly £83 I'm not sure it blows away other champagnes at £50-60. Still a solid wine, just not sure about the value.

Kenji Watanabe VIPsAllowed - Proper vintage champagne
9/10

Picked this up for our anniversary and it was a hit. My partner doesn't usually notice the difference between champagnes but even she said this one was special. There's a real depth to it that you don't get with non-vintage stuff — the flavours just keep coming in waves. The gift box is a nice touch too.

Dmitri Volkov VIPsAllowed - Impressive for a dinner party
8/10

Brought this to a dinner party and it went down really well. You can tell it's a step up from regular champagne — it's got more going on, layers of flavour that kind of unfold as you drink it. The finish just lingers and lingers. Would buy again for the right occasion but probably not a Tuesday night bottle at that price.
