Maxwell Green VIPsAllowed - My new go-to for celebrations
8/10

I'm not a massive wine nerd but I know what I like, and I really like this. It's got proper depth to it compared to most Champagne I've had. The mid-palate thing people talk about — I think I finally get it with this one? There's just more there than you expect. Premier Cru Vertus clearly means something.

Tyler Bennet VIPsAllowed - Bit pricey for what it is
7/10

Look, it's nice. Clean finish, well-made, good balance. But I'm not convinced it's £62.50 nice. For that money I'd probably rather grab two decent bottles of Crémant and have change left over. One for the Champagne purists maybe.

Gianluca Ferro VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this as a birthday present to myself because I'd seen it on a list somewhere. So glad I did. From the first sip there's just loads going on — fruity but not sweet, complex but not try-hard. The kind of bottle where you keep going back for another glass without meaning to.

Priya Sharma VIPsAllowed - Wow, this is proper Champagne
9/10

Bought this for our anniversary and it completely delivered. There's so much going on — layers of flavour that keep changing as you drink it. At £62.50 it's not cheap but honestly it felt worth every penny for a special night.

Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Good but maybe overhyped?
7/10

It's a solid Champagne, don't get me wrong. Nice and crisp with decent depth to it. But at over sixty quid I think I expected it to blow my mind and it didn't quite get there. I've had cheaper fizz that I enjoyed just as much on a Friday night.

Luna Chavez VIPsAllowed - Perfect dinner party bottle
8/10

Brought this to a friend's dinner party and everyone commented on it. It's got real character — you can tell it's a cut above the usual stuff. The acidity keeps things fresh and interesting. Went brilliantly with the fish course and the cheese board after.

Diana Cruz VIPsAllowed - Tried this at a restaurant, had to track it down
8/10

Had a glass of this at a restaurant last month and spent the next two weeks trying to find a bottle. The thing that got me was how expressive it is right out of the gate — no waiting around, it just hits you with all these aromatics straight away. Really well put together.
