Nice Rasteau that does what you'd hope for the price. Plenty of ripe fruit but there's good acidity keeping everything in check. Drank it with lamb shoulder and it was a great match.

8/10

Bought this for a dinner party and it went down really well. Loads of dark fruit on the nose and it's got this lovely freshness that stops it feeling too heavy. At £30 it's not an everyday bottle but it's worth it for a special meal.

Olivia Wong VIPsAllowed - Wine shop recommendation
7/10

The guy in our local wine shop suggested this when I said I liked Châteauneuf but didn't want to spend £40+. It's rich and fruity but not jammy, and it keeps you coming back for another sip. Pretty happy with it.

Connor McBride VIPsAllowed - Proper grown-up red
8/10

Had this at a friend's house and immediately asked what it was. It's generous and fruity but feels really well balanced — not one of those reds that just hits you over the head. The finish is clean and makes you want to keep drinking. Tracked down a bottle the next week.

Annika Svensson VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
8/10

My partner got me this for my birthday and I'm glad she did. It smells gorgeous straight out the bottle and the flavour just builds and builds as you drink it. At 14% it packs a punch but doesn't taste boozy at all. Lovely stuff.

Absolutely loved this. The fruit is so expressive and warm, and there's a real depth to it that I wasn't expecting. Had it with a slow-cooked beef stew on a cold evening and it was perfect. Already ordered another bottle.

7/10

Picked this up not knowing much about Rasteau and was pleasantly surprised. It's got a lot going on — dark berries, good bit of acidity, and a finish that sticks around. We had it with homemade pizza and it worked really well. Not sure I'd pay £30 every time but it's a treat.

Elena Vasquez VIPsAllowed - Good but a bit steep
6/10

The wine itself is perfectly nice — warm dark fruit, decent structure, finishes clean. But £30 feels a touch high when I've had Rasteau at £18-20 that gets close. Would buy again on offer though.
