La Jara Frizzante Rose Spumante Organic
Rosé 12% ABV ABV La JaraReally nice summer drink
Picked this up for a barbecue last weekend and it went down a treat. Lovely pink fizz, not too sweet, and the bubbles are gentle rather than in-your-face. At under £14 it's a solid buy for when you want something a bit more interesting than prosecco.
Great with food
The guy at our local wine shop recommended this and he was spot on. It's got a proper crispness to it that cuts through richer food — we had it with pizza and it was perfect. The fizz is really soft and relaxed, not like a full-on sparkling wine. Would buy again.
Perfect for not overthinking it
Got this as part of a mixed case and it was the one I kept coming back to. Really easy drinking but not boring — there's enough acidity and flavour to keep it interesting. Had it ice cold on a Friday evening and it was exactly what I needed after a long week.
Bit pricey for what it is
Saw this on a restaurant menu and liked it enough to track down a bottle for home. It's nice — clean, fruity, easy to drink — but £13.75 feels steep for a lightly sparkling rosé. The finish is lovely though, sort of lingers in a good way without being heavy.
My new favourite rosé
Absolutely loved this! I'm not usually a rosé person but this has completely won me over. It smells gorgeous and there's a real depth to it that I wasn't expecting from a frizzante. The fact it's organic is a bonus too. Already ordered more.
Decent everyday rosé fizz
Bought a couple of bottles for a dinner party and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It's got more going on than your average pink fizz — there's actual flavour and a nice acidity that keeps it fresh. Not life-changing but reliably good.
Fine but not amazing
It's alright. Pleasant enough fizz and decent fruit flavour but I wasn't blown away for nearly £14. I've had Spanish rosé cavas at half the price that I enjoyed just as much. The organic thing is nice though I suppose.
