Marcus Chen VIPsAllowed - Absolutely loved this

I don't know much about Equipo Navazos but this is genuinely one of the best reds I've had this year. Everything just works together — the fruit, the acidity, the finish that goes on and on. Shared it with friends and they were all asking where to buy it. Already ordered another bottle.

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop wouldn't stop going on about Equipo Navazos. He was right — it's got this lovely fruit thing going on but it's not jammy or over the top. Really clean finish too. At £28.50 it's not an everyday bottle but I'd absolutely buy it again for a nice weekend dinner.

Natasha Volkov VIPsAllowed - Nice but a bit pricey for what it is
6/10

It's a perfectly fine wine — fruity, clean, easy to drink. But honestly at £28.50 I expected something that would blow me away and it didn't quite get there. I've had Spanish reds at half the price that I enjoyed just as much. Not bad by any means, just not sure it's worth the premium.

Luciano Bianchi VIPsAllowed - Solid red, nothing to complain about

Got this for a dinner party and it went down well with everyone. It's well-balanced and smooth, not too heavy despite being 14%. Good with the lamb we had. I probably wouldn't spend nearly thirty quid on it regularly but it does the job when you want something a step up from the usual.

8/10

My partner got me this for my birthday and wow, it smells incredible straight out of the bottle. No waiting around for it to open up. Really layered and interesting as you drink it — kept noticing different things. The kind of wine that makes you slow down and actually pay attention.

Aiko Tanaka VIPsAllowed - Interesting Spanish red
7/10

Not your typical Rioja or Ribera del Duero, this is doing its own thing. Quite aromatic and expressive, drinks really smoothly for 14% ABV. Had it with a pasta bake on a Friday night and it was lovely. The finish is clean and doesn't leave that bitter drying feeling some reds give me.

Saw this on a restaurant menu a while back and tracked down a bottle to have at home. It's got proper structure to it, holds up really well with red meat. The acidity keeps everything fresh which I liked. Would happily have it again.
