Solid white port

Had this at a friend's house after dinner and liked it enough to order one myself. You can tell the 10 years ageing has done something because it's got real depth to it, not just sweet and simple. Good value at under £25 for a half bottle.

Perfect after dinner sipper

Bought this for a dinner party to serve with cheese and it was a massive hit. Everyone kept asking what it was. Really aromatic when you first pour it and the finish is clean and lingering. Kopke clearly know what they're doing.

Reliable and tasty

Keep coming back to Kopke for their ports and this doesn't disappoint. Nicely structured with good acidity so it doesn't get cloying. Half bottle is actually the perfect size for two people sharing after a meal.

Really nice find

Grabbed this half bottle on a whim from Majestic and honestly wish I'd bought the full size. Really rich and warming without being too boozy even at 20%. Sipped it chilled on the patio and it was gone way too fast.

Great intro to aged port

I'm fairly new to port and the guy in the wine shop steered me towards this. Really glad he did. It's warming but not harsh and has way more going on flavour-wise than the cheap white ports I've had before. Good starting point if you're curious about this style.

Good not great

Picked this up at the airport on the way back from Lisbon. It's smooth and pleasant with some nice depth but I've had tawnies at similar prices that impressed me more. The ABV is well hidden though which is a plus — you'd never guess 20%.

Nice but not blown away

It's decent — smooth and well balanced with some interesting layered flavours. But for £22.75 for a half bottle that works out pretty expensive per glass. I'd probably try something else next time at that price point.

Absolutely loved this

This might be my favourite white port I've tried. Ten years of ageing gives it this gorgeous concentrated nose and real complexity on the palate. Served it well chilled with salted almonds and it was genuinely special. Already reordered.
