Jean-Marc Charpentier Terre d'Emotion Rose NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Jean-Marc CharpentierGood not great
Saw this on a menu at a wine bar and decided to track down a bottle. It's well made and refreshing, nice long finish too. I just expected a bit more complexity for the price point. The acidity is spot on though, never feels heavy or sweet.
Solid rosé Champagne
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé Champagne that wasn't just about the colour. He was right — there's genuine depth here and the acidity keeps everything lively. Would happily buy again, though I'd save it for when I have people round.
Perfect dinner party fizz
Brought this to a dinner party and it went down really well with everyone. Really aromatic when you first pour it and it sort of opens up the more you drink. We had it with salmon and it was a great match.
Birthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my wife's birthday and we were both really impressed. It's got this lovely freshness to it that keeps you going back for more, and the bubbles are super fine. At £47 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a special occasion.
Nice but a bit pricey for what it is
It's a perfectly good rosé Champagne, don't get me wrong. Clean finish, decent fruit, not too heavy at 12.5%. But at nearly fifty quid I've had bottles I enjoyed more for less. Would drink it again if someone else was buying.
Way better than the usual supermarket stuff
I don't know loads about Champagne but I know what I like and this was gorgeous. The flavours kind of reveal themselves slowly rather than hitting you all at once? My partner said it was the best fizz we've had at home. Already looking at ordering more.
