Jasnieres Les Rosiers 2022 / Domaine de Belliviere
Red 14% ABV ABV De BellivierePunches above its weight
I'm not super knowledgeable about wine but I know what I like, and I really liked this. Smells amazing when you pour it — really confident and fruity. Had it with a steak pie and it was perfect.
Solid choice for a dinner party
Brought this to a friend's birthday dinner and it went down really well with the lamb. Nice structure to it, good fruit and acidity balance. Not cheap at £35 but it drinks like something more expensive honestly.
Really impressed with this one
Picked this up from a local wine shop on the guy's recommendation and wow. Really expressive on the nose, loads of character straight out of the bottle. At 14% it's got some weight to it but doesn't feel boozy at all. Would absolutely buy again.
Birthday treat that delivered
My wife got me this for my birthday and it's genuinely one of the best reds I've had this year. Layered and complex but still really drinkable. The finish just lingers in the best way — kept going back for another sip.
Bit pricey for what it is
Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered a bottle. It's nice, don't get me wrong — well balanced, clean finish, carries the 14% ABV well. But at this price point I think there's better value out there from more established regions.
Goes with everything
Had this with pasta one night and roast chicken the next and it worked brilliantly both times. Not too heavy, not too light. The nose is really inviting and it just keeps revealing more as it opens up. Will be grabbing another bottle for sure.
Good but not mindblowing
Decent wine, well made and everything works together. The finish is clean and pleasant enough. Just felt like for nearly £36 I expected something a bit more exciting? I'd probably reach for something else at this price.
Great find from the Loire
Been getting into Loire reds lately and this Jasnieres is a really good example. Loads of depth and the acidity keeps everything fresh. Honestly surprised how much complexity there is here for the money. Had it over two evenings and it was even better on day two.
