Involuntary Commitment Columbia Valley Andrew Will 2020
Red 14% ABV ABV Andrew WillBit pricey for what it is
It's fine, don't get me wrong — smooth, easy to drink, no complaints really. But at £26.50 I expected a bit more wow factor. There are Washington reds I like just as much for less.
Great dinner party wine
Brought this to a friend's dinner party and everyone asked about it. Goes down easy and feels a bit special without being over the top. The finish is lovely — keeps you coming back for another glass.
Really solid red
Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. Really smooth for 14% — you'd never guess it was that strong. Had it with a steak dinner and it was perfect. Would definitely buy again.
Good but not mindblowing
Decent wine for the price. Nice fruit flavours and it's well balanced, nothing harsh about it. I wouldn't say it blew me away but I'd happily drink it again on a weeknight.
Absolutely loved this
I don't know much about wine from Columbia Valley but this has made me a fan. So well put together — the fruit is there but it's not jammy or sweet. Had it over two evenings and it was actually better on day two. One of my favourites this year.
Birthday treat that delivered
My wife got me this for my birthday and I'm glad she did. The smell alone when you pour it is gorgeous — really fruity and inviting. Loads of layers going on and it just kept getting better as it opened up. Proper treat of a wine.
Solid everyday-ish red
Saw Andrew Will recommended somewhere online and gave this a go. It's nicely balanced and doesn't taste hot at all despite the 14%. Not sure I'd call it everyday at that price but it's a good one to have on hand for when you want something a step up from the usual.
