Goes perfectly with food

We had this with roast chicken and it was absolutely brilliant. The acidity cuts right through anything rich and the flavours just keep coming. My partner who usually sticks to Sauvignon Blanc loved it too. Already ordered another couple of bottles.

Solid German white

Had this at a friend's dinner party and asked what it was. Really clean and crisp, proper dry, with a nice long finish that sticks around. It's well made for sure but I'm not 100% convinced it's worth the thirty quid when there are great Silvaners for half the price.

Interesting and different

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and thought I'd try something outside my comfort zone. Really expressive nose, you can smell it as soon as it's poured. Took a few sips to really get into it but by the end of the glass I was properly enjoying it. The finish lingers in a really pleasant way.

Good but bit pricey for what it is

Bought this for my wife's birthday dinner. It's nice enough — clean, precise, decent fruit — but I expected more complexity at this price point honestly. We've had £15 Franken Silvaners that punched nearly as hard. Not bad by any means, just didn't blow us away.

Really impressed with this one

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. Not gonna lie, I didn't know much about Silvaner before this but wow — there's so much going on. Loads of flavour that kind of builds the longer you sit with it. At £30 it's not cheap for a weeknight bottle but I'd definitely buy it again for a nice meal.

Decent Silvaner, needs patience

Don't judge this one on the first sip — it opens up loads after about 20 minutes. Started off a bit tight but then all these layers of ripe fruit came through with a proper acid backbone holding it together. Had it with some grilled fish and it worked a treat. Would recommend letting it breathe.
