Henriot Brut Rose Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV HenriotGenuinely impressed
I've been slowly trying different rosé Champagnes this year and this is one of the better ones I've had. The acidity gives it real backbone and it doesn't just disappear after you swallow like some cheaper ones do. Kept reaching for my glass all evening. Henriot clearly know what they're doing.
Good but bit pricey
Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was nice enough. Clean, well-balanced, decent length on the finish. But for nearly £50 I'd probably look at a few other options before reaching for this one again. Not bad by any means, just not sure it justifies the price for me.
Goes down dangerously easy
Picked this up for a girls' night and we demolished two bottles. It's really expressive on the nose — you can smell it as soon as you pour — and the taste backs it up. Good complexity without being one of those Champagnes you need a degree to appreciate. Would definitely get it again for a gathering.
Perfect for our anniversary
Bought this for our 10th anniversary dinner and it was a hit. Really lovely pink colour in the glass and the bubbles are super fine. The fruit flavours are spot on — not too sweet, not too dry — and it lingered nicely after each sip. At £48 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it felt worth every penny.
Solid rosé Champagne
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé Champagne that wasn't just pink fizz. He was right — there's actual depth to it. Nice acidity that keeps it fresh and interesting. Would happily buy again.
