Valentina Ricci VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my wife's 40th and we were both blown away. Really creamy with lovely toasty, bready flavours and the bubbles are super fine — felt properly luxurious. At £80 it's not an everyday buy but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.

We cracked this open on Christmas Day and it was gorgeous. Lovely fine bubbles, tastes like toasted almonds and lemon with a sort of creamy richness to it. Stayed fresh right to the bottom of the bottle which didn't take long between four of us. Already thinking about grabbing another for New Year's.

Ruth Banks VIPsAllowed - Nice but I expected more for the price
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was good — lovely lemony freshness and that toasty almond thing going on. But honestly for nearly £80 I think there are Champagnes that give you more bang for your buck. Would drink it again happily, just wouldn't rush out to buy a bottle myself.

Tariq Hassan VIPsAllowed - The good stuff
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something a step up from Moët. He was right — it's in a different league. Really elegant, all brioche and citrus but not heavy at all. The finish just goes on and on. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend apparently, whatever they're doing it works.
