Kofi Asante VIPsAllowed - Surprised me how much I liked it
8/10

Not usually a champagne person, I tend to stick to still reds. But this changed my mind a bit — it's got proper depth and the fruit really comes through. You can tell they've put thought into making it rather than just slapping a label on fizzy wine. Had it with some charcuterie and it was spot on.

Jackson Wu VIPsAllowed - Nice but maybe not £80 nice
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was lovely, really clean and well balanced. But honestly at that price point I think I'd want a bit more going on. The finish is pleasant but it fades quicker than I expected. I'd happily drink it again, just wouldn't buy it myself.

Kenji Watanabe VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

My wife got me this for my 40th and wow, what a bottle. Really expressive from the moment you pop it — you can tell it's serious champagne without being stuffy. The acidity keeps it fresh and interesting, and I kept going back for another sip. Worth every penny for a special occasion.

Luna Chavez VIPsAllowed - Proper champagne, not just bubbles
8/10

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. It's got layers to it — not just fizzy wine like a lot of champagnes can be. There's real fruit and structure going on. At nearly £80 it's not an everyday thing but it's genuinely good stuff.

Natasha Volkov VIPsAllowed - Brought this to a dinner party
8/10

Wanted something a cut above Moët for a mate's dinner and this hit the spot. People noticed straight away it was different — more interesting on the nose and really satisfying to drink. The acidity is bang on, keeps everything lively without being sharp. Would definitely buy again.

Kwame Mensah VIPsAllowed - This is what champagne should taste like
9/10

I'm not a wine expert by any stretch but even I could tell this was something special. It's got this lovely fruit thing going on balanced with a crispness that makes you want to keep drinking. Brought it to New Year's and everyone was asking what it was.

Aiko Tanaka VIPsAllowed - Good champagne, stiff competition at this price
7/10

It's well made and I appreciate the Pinot Noir focus — gives it a bit more weight than a blanc de blancs. Clean finish, decent complexity. My issue is purely that there are some really strong champagnes around the £60-70 mark that get you most of the way there. Still a solid 7 from me.

Zara Al-Hassan VIPsAllowed - Stood out on the restaurant menu
8/10

Ordered this at a restaurant because I'd never heard of Henri Giraud and was curious. So glad I did. It's a Pinot Noir champagne and you can really taste the difference — more body and complexity than your typical fizz. Had it with roast chicken and it was a perfect match.
