Ruth Banks VIPsAllowed - This is what champagne should taste like
9/10

I've been slowly getting into blanc de blancs styles and this one from Helene Beaugrand is excellent. No dosage so it's completely dry, but there's real complexity through the middle — layers of flavour that keep you interested. The finish is long and satisfying without being heavy. Treat yourself.

Priscilla Nunes VIPsAllowed - Nice for a special dinner
7/10

Picked this up for our anniversary dinner. It's definitely good quality champagne, clean and fresh with a nice long finish. My partner loved it more than I did — I think I prefer something with a bit more sweetness personally. But I can see why people rate it highly at 12.5% it went down very easily too.

Emily Thomas VIPsAllowed - Smells incredible straight from the pour

Not gonna lie I'm more of a prosecco person usually but this was on another level. The aromas hit you straight away, really generous and clear. Loved how everything felt balanced rather than one flavour taking over. Had it with some fish and chips weirdly enough and it worked brilliantly.

9/10

Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Really crisp and clean with loads going on — not one of those champagnes that just tastes like fizzy nothing. At £62 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it felt worth every penny.

Nils Bergman VIPsAllowed - Proper grown-up champagne
8/10

The wine shop guy steered me toward this when I said I wanted something dry and interesting. No added sugar apparently (brut nature) and you can really tell — it's bone dry but not harsh at all. Lovely balanced fruit and the finish just keeps going. Will definitely buy again.

Liam Anderson VIPsAllowed - Good but maybe not £62 good
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and thought it was really nice — clean, well-made, proper stuff. But when I looked up the price afterwards I was a bit surprised. You can get solid champagne for £40-45 that would do the job for most occasions. That said the quality is clearly there.
