Guy Méa Rosa Delice Premier Cru NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Guy MeaGoes down dangerously easy
Had this at a friend's house and immediately wanted to know what it was. Really smooth and creamy with a warmth to it that I wasn't expecting from a champagne. The biscuity smell when you first pour it is gorgeous. Ordered two bottles the next day.
New favourite champagne
I'm not usually a rosé champagne person but this changed my mind. It's got real weight to it — not thin or overly sweet like some pink fizzes. The acidity keeps it fresh and the finish just goes on and on. Had it with roast chicken and it was perfect.
Birthday treat that delivered
Got this for my 40th and wow, it really impressed everyone. The bubbles are super fine and creamy, and there's this lovely biscuity thing going on with red fruit underneath. At £46.50 it's not cheap but honestly for a Premier Cru champagne it felt like good value for a special occasion.
Solid rosé champagne
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé champagne that wasn't just pink fizz. He was right — there's proper depth to it, not just fruit and bubbles. The finish sticks around too which I always think is a good sign. Would buy again for sure.
Nice but bit pricey for what it is
Picked this up for a dinner party and it went down well enough. Pleasant red fruit flavours and decent fizz. I just think at nearly £47 there are other champagnes I'd reach for first. Not bad by any means, just not sure it justifies the price over something like a good Lidl Premier Cru.
