Gutierrez Colosia Oloroso Seco
Red 14% ABV ABV Gutierrez ColosiaNot really my thing
I can see why people rate this but it was a bit too dry and serious for my taste. I usually go for something fruitier and easier to drink on a weeknight. The quality is obviously there though so maybe I'd try it again with the right food.
Solid choice for dinner
Bought this for a dinner party and it went down well with everyone. Nice balance to it, not too heavy despite being quite complex. The finish lingers in a good way. Would buy again but probably not every week at that price.
Nice find from Gutierrez Colosia
Saw this on a menu and decided to grab a bottle to take home. It's well-made stuff — good acidity, proper structure, and it rewards you if you sit with it for a bit rather than just gulping it down. Not life-changing but genuinely enjoyable.
Birthday treat that delivered
Got this as a birthday present to myself and no regrets. Really expressive on the nose — you can tell it's a serious wine before you even taste it. Smooth and clean finish too. 14% but doesn't drink hot at all which I liked.
Good but a bit pricey for what it is
It's a decent wine, don't get me wrong. Smells great and there's a lot going on flavour-wise. But £28? I've had bottles at half the price that I've enjoyed just as much. One for when someone else is paying.
Really impressed with this one
Picked this up after the guy at the wine shop recommended it. Really layered and interesting — you keep finding new things in each sip. At £28 it's not cheap but honestly feels worth it for a special occasion.
