Converted me to English sparkling
The guy at my local wine shop talked me into trying this instead of my usual Champagne and fair play to him. Gorgeous pear and citrus notes, really refreshing acidity without being tart. I'm a Chardonnay fan anyway so this was right up my street.

Birthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my wife's 40th and we were both blown away. Really creamy bubbles with this lovely apple and pear thing going on. At sixty quid it's not cheap but honestly it felt special enough for the occasion. Would definitely buy again for a celebration.

Proper English fizz
Had this at a friend's wedding and tracked it down afterwards. It's got that toasty bread thing underneath but still tastes really fresh and fruity — green apple mostly. Fine mousse too, not those aggressive bubbles you get with cheaper stuff.

Absolute stunner with seafood
Opened this with a big platter of oysters and prawns on Saturday night and it was perfect. So fresh and zingy with those lime notes, and the creamy texture balances it all out. Gusbourne are seriously underrated — this is as good as most Blanc de Blancs Champagne I've had.

Nice but is it £60 nice?
Got this as a gift and it's genuinely lovely to drink — light, elegant, peachy flavours with a clean finish. But if I'm being honest I'm not sure I'd spend sixty quid on it myself when you can get decent Champagne for similar money. Still, very enjoyable.

Solid but not mind-blowing
Picked this up after seeing it recommended online. It's definitely well made — nice fine bubbles, pleasant apple and white peach flavours, clean finish. Just didn't quite have the wow factor I was expecting at this price point. I'd give it a 7, maybe an 8 on a good day.

Christmas dinner hero
Brought this to Christmas dinner instead of the usual Prosecco and everyone noticed the difference straight away. Really elegant stuff with a lovely toasty quality to it. My dad who "doesn't really do wine" had three glasses so that tells you something. The gift box is a nice touch too.
