Ethan Cooper VIPsAllowed - Great port, not sure it's £350 great
7/10

Had a glass of this at a restaurant and it was lovely, really complex with loads of dried fruit character. But honestly I've had 20-year tawnies at a quarter of the price that made me just as happy. For serious collectors I'm sure it's a must-have though.

The guy at the wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something truly special for Christmas. He wasn't wrong. It smells amazing straight away — really confident and clear. The acidity keeps it fresh despite being so rich and concentrated. Graham's clearly know what they're doing with tawny port.

Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - 1974. Let that sink in.

I was born in 1974 so my wife got me this for my 50th. Drinking something that's been aging since the year you were born is genuinely emotional. The complexity is unreal, layer after layer of dried fruit and this beautiful clean finish. Best wine I've ever had, full stop.

I don't know much about port beyond the usual Christmas bottle but a friend brought this to a dinner party and wow. It's so smooth and elegant, nothing harsh at all. The finish goes on for ages. I now understand why people get obsessed with aged ports.

Got this as a retirement gift and it's definitely the fanciest thing I've ever drunk. Really concentrated and layered, you keep finding new things in it. The finish is clean and just hangs around beautifully. Only docking a couple of points because at this price I expected it to also do the washing up.

Saw this on a wine list while on holiday in Porto and couldn't resist. 1974! The aromas hit you immediately — nothing subtle about it, just pure quality. Rich dried fruit but perfectly balanced, not too sweet at all. Shared it with my partner and we savoured every drop.

Luna Chavez VIPsAllowed - Stunning but hard to justify the price
8/10

Tried this at a port tasting event and it's genuinely fantastic. So smooth and concentrated, with a long finish that just lingers forever. But £350 is a LOT of money for a bottle. I'd give the wine itself a 9 or 10 but the value knocks it down a point for me.

9/10

Bought this for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and it was the star of the evening. The dried fruit flavours are incredible — like nothing I've tasted before. It just keeps going and going after you swallow. At £350 it's not an everyday thing obviously, but for a once-in-a-lifetime occasion? Absolutely worth it.
