Birthday treat that delivered
Got this for my 40th and wow, it really is a step up from what I normally drink. Loads of flavour going on — not just bubbles for the sake of it. The finish keeps going and going, properly lingering. At £56 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.

My new go-to for celebrations
Second time buying this now. What I love is it's not just fizzy and sharp like cheaper stuff — there's actual complexity and structure to it. Really expressive on the nose too, you get a lot going on before you even take a sip. Treat yourself.

The wine shop guy was right
Bloke in the shop recommended this when I said I wanted something better than Moët for our anniversary. He wasn't wrong — it's got real depth to it and layers of flavour that keep coming. Went brilliantly with the cheese board after dinner.

Nice but is it £56 nice?
Had this at a friend's dinner party and it's definitely good champagne. Clean, crisp, nicely balanced acidity. But honestly at that price point I'd want it to blow my socks off and it didn't quite get there for me. I'd have it again if someone else was buying though!
