Gocce di Favola Prosecco Extra Dry NV
Sparkling 12.5% ABV ABV Gocce di FavolaNice with food
The guy at the wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something for a pasta night. He was right — it's got enough body to stand up to food rather than just being a light aperitif. Good acidity that cuts through richer dishes. Fair price for what you get.
It's fine, nothing special
Got this for a dinner party because the label looked nice. It's decent enough Prosecco but at nearly thirteen quid I expected a bit more wow factor. It's clean and easy to drink but so is the £8 stuff from Aldi. Probably wouldn't seek it out again.
Better than expected
I normally don't spend this much on Prosecco but this was a treat for my birthday weekend. Really glad I did — there's actual complexity here, not just generic fizzy wine flavour. The finish lingers nicely and it kept being interesting the whole way through the bottle. At 12.5% it's got a bit more punch than most Prosecco too.
Solid fizz for the money
Picked this up for a girls' night and it went down really well. Proper bubbles, not that flat sweet stuff you sometimes get with cheaper Prosecco. At £12.95 it's not the cheapest but you can actually taste the difference — crisp and clean with nice fruit. Would buy again.
Good everyday bubbles
Saw this on a restaurant menu and liked it enough to track down a bottle for home. It's a solid extra dry with clean fruit and decent bubbles. Not going to blow your mind but it's reliable and easy drinking. I'd happily have this in the fridge for whenever.
