Zara Al-Hassan VIPsAllowed - Don't sleep on this one
8/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked where she got it. For a smaller producer I hadn't heard of, it punches well above its weight. There's a real richness in the middle that surprised me, and the finish is crisp without being harsh. Already ordered a few half bottles for the fridge.

Picked this up for a quiet New Year's Eve in with my partner and it was perfect. Really nice bubbles, proper depth to it — not thin or sharp like some cheaper champagnes. At under £19 for a half bottle it's not exactly cheap but honestly it tasted like it should cost more.

James Okafor VIPsAllowed - Nice but wish it was a full bottle
6/10

The wine shop guy recommended this and it IS good — proper toasty champagne flavour with a clean finish. My issue is purely the value. £18.75 for a half bottle means you're paying £37.50 equivalent for a full one, and at that price there's serious competition. Would buy again on offer though.

Lena Petrova VIPsAllowed - Solid champagne, good for gifting
7/10

Bought a couple of these as stocking fillers because the half bottle size is ideal for a gift. It's well made stuff, good balance between the fruity bits and the dryness. Not the most exciting champagne I've ever had but definitely a cut above supermarket fizz.
