Marianne Blom VIPsAllowed - Good but maybe overhyped
7/10

It's a solid champagne, don't get me wrong. Nice acidity and the fruit is there without being sweet. But at over £43 a bottle I think you can find similar quality for less. I'd have it again if someone else was buying.

Tiffany Nguyen VIPsAllowed - Proper champagne, not just fizz
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this and he wasn't wrong. It's got real depth to it, not just the usual sharp fizzy stuff. Took a few minutes to open up but once it did the aromas were lovely. Would definitely buy again for a nice dinner.

Freya Lindqvist VIPsAllowed - Surprised how much I liked this
8/10

I'm not usually a champagne person — I find most of them a bit samey. This one actually had me paying attention though. There's a complexity to it that unfolds as you drink, and the finish is really clean and long. Had it with some takeaway sushi and it was brilliant.

Elena Morozova VIPsAllowed - Decent grower champagne
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and thought I'd try a grower champagne for once instead of the big names. It's well made — generous fruit balanced by a nice taut acidity. The finish lingers nicely. Bit pricey for a midweek treat but I'd pick it up for a celebration no question.

Brought this to a friend's dinner party and everyone kept asking about it. It's got this lovely structured feel to it without being heavy at all. The acidity keeps everything fresh and lively. Three of us have already ordered more — that tells you everything really.

Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Really layered and interesting — you keep noticing new things as you drink it. The bubbles are fine and the finish just goes on and on. At £43 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's worth every penny.
