Henrik Larsen VIPsAllowed - Interesting but not sure I'd rebuy
7/10

The wine shop guy talked me into this and it's definitely complex — lots going on, dried fruit, a bit of spice, and the finish goes on forever. But at nearly £80 I was expecting to be completely blown away and I was more like... respectfully impressed? Good wine, just not sure it's MY kind of wine.

Celeste Moreno VIPsAllowed - Genuinely one of the best older wines I've tried
9/10

Picked this up after seeing it recommended online and wow. It smells incredible straight away — confident and rich without being heavy. The balance is just spot on and the finish lingers in the best way. If you can stretch to the price tag it's a real treat.

Zoe Chen VIPsAllowed - This one made me sit and think
8/10

Had this at a tasting evening and it was the standout bottle. Every time I went back to the glass I noticed something different. The acidity keeps it really fresh despite being nearly 40 years old which is wild. Would love to have another bottle but the price is a bit steep for a regular purchase.

Priscilla Nunes VIPsAllowed - Bit pricey for what it is
7/10

Decent wine, no question. Concentrated fruit, nice acidity, clean finish. But £80 is a lot and I've had similarly enjoyable bottles for half that. I think you're paying a premium for the age here. Would recommend trying it if someone else is buying though!

Valentina Ricci VIPsAllowed - Proper special occasion wine
9/10

Bought this for my dad's 60th and we were all genuinely impressed. It's got this amazing depth to it — layers of flavour that just keep coming. For a wine from 1986 it's in incredible shape, still lively and fresh. Not cheap at £80 but for a milestone birthday it felt worth every penny.
