Jake Morrison VIPsAllowed - Spanish reds keep surprising me
8/10

I've been getting more into Spanish wines lately and this Dominio del Bendito is a great find. Really expressive nose, you can smell it as soon as you pour. The finish lingers in a really pleasant way that makes you want another sip. Had it with some grilled lamb chops and it was spot on.

8/10

Picked this up from a local wine shop on a whim and glad I did. Really warming and smooth, the fruit flavours come through nicely without being too jammy. Had it with a slow-cooked beef stew and it was perfect. At £25 it's not an everyday bottle but definitely one I'd buy again for a weekend treat.

Dmitri Volkov VIPsAllowed - Good but not amazing
6/10

Bit pricey for what it is honestly. It's a decent red, nice enough smell when you pour it and the taste is fine — quite structured with good acidity. But for £25.50 I'd probably want something that blows me away a bit more. Would maybe try it again if it was on offer.

Samir Patel VIPsAllowed - Solid choice for dinner
7/10

Bought this for a dinner party after the guy at the wine shop recommended it. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, it's got a nice warmth to it without being too boozy despite being 14%. The flavours kind of open up the longer it sits in the glass which was cool. Would serve it again.
