Maxwell Green VIPsAllowed - Solid but not life-changing

Picked this up after reading good things online. It's a well-made Chablis with nice citrus and mineral notes and a clean dry finish. Decent with fish and chips honestly. Just not sure it justifies the price tag over some other producers.

Isabella Rossi VIPsAllowed - Surprised by how full this is

Not your typical lean Chablis at all. At 14% it's got real body but somehow doesn't feel heavy or boozy. Had it with roast chicken and it was perfect. Let it breathe for ten minutes and it really opens up.

Olivia Wong VIPsAllowed - Best Chablis I've had in ages
9/10

Saw Pattes Loup on a restaurant wine list last year and loved it, so tracked down the Vent d'Ange online. The acidity is spot on — chalky and refreshing without being sharp. Genuinely complex for a village wine. Already ordered more.

Guy at my local suggested this when I said I wanted a nice Chablis that wasn't Petit Chablis. Really lovely citrus notes and a clean finish that keeps you going back for more. £48 is a lot for a village Chablis but the quality is genuinely there.

Daisy Miller VIPsAllowed - Proper Chablis this
9/10

Bought this for my wife's birthday dinner and wow, really glad I splashed out. The mineral thing people talk about with Chablis — you can actually taste it here. Crisp and chalky but still has some weight to it. Would absolutely buy again.

Penelope Hart VIPsAllowed - Nice but pricey for what it is
7/10

Good wine, don't get me wrong — lovely stone fruit flavours and that classic Chablis minerality. But nearly fifty quid for village level? I've had premier cru for similar money. If it was £35 I'd rate it higher.

Brought this to a friend's dinner party and everyone asked about it. Really expressive on the nose straight away and the finish just lingers in a good way. One of those wines where you keep wanting another sip. Would happily grab another bottle.
