Domaine Oudin Chablis Les Serres 2022
Red 14% ABV ABV OudinGreat with seafood
We had this with grilled prawns and it was brilliant. That chalky mineral edge really works with shellfish. Clean finish too, nothing heavy or overblown despite the higher alcohol. Would happily order it again.
Best Chablis I've had in ages
Had this at a restaurant and immediately tracked down a bottle for home. Beautifully balanced, not too fruity, not too austere. The minerality is bang on and the finish just lingers perfectly. Worth every penny.
Good, not mindblowing
Picked this up after seeing it recommended somewhere online. It's well made and I enjoyed drinking it with some roast chicken. Decent complexity in the middle but I've had Chablis at this price that impressed me more.
Solid pick from the wine shop
The guy at my local recommended this and he wasn't wrong. Clean, crisp, proper chalky mineral thing going on. At nearly £40 it's not an everyday bottle but it's genuinely good stuff.
Birthday treat that delivered
Got this as a birthday present to myself. Really expressive on the nose — you get that classic flinty Chablis character straight away. 14% ABV but you honestly wouldn't guess it, goes down dangerously easy.
Nice but a bit steep
It's a good Chablis, no question. Lovely clarity and the finish keeps you coming back for more. But £39 is a lot when there are decent Chablis options for £20-25. Would buy on offer.
Proper Chablis, this one
Bought this for a dinner party and it was the star of the evening. Really flinty and mineral, exactly what you want from Chablis. The acidity is spot on — cuts through rich food brilliantly. Would absolutely buy again.
