The wine shop guy talked me into this over a more standard champagne and it is good — creamy, biscuity, proper stuff. But at nearly £64 I kept thinking I could get two decent bottles of something else. Would maybe get it again for Christmas.

Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked what it was. Really layered — starts fruity and peachy then goes into this lemon curd and pastry thing on the finish. Three grapes in the blend and you can tell there's some complexity going on. Tracked a bottle down online the next day.

So bored of the same big brand champagnes so gave this a go. The chalky dry finish is what sets it apart for me, it just keeps going. Went brilliantly with some takeaway fish and chips which sounds wrong but honestly worked. Will definitely buy again.

Bought this for my 40th and wow, glad I did. The bread-y, toasty thing going on is gorgeous and there's this lovely peach flavour that keeps coming back. Bubbles are super fine too. Pricey but it felt worth it for a special occasion.
