Digby Brut NV
Red 14% ABV ABV DigbyReally impressed with this
Bought this for a dinner party and it went down a treat. Loads of fruit but not sweet, and it's got this lovely clean finish that keeps you coming back for more. Would definitely buy again.
Great with a roast
Had this with a Sunday lamb roast and it was a perfect match. Good structure and the acidity cuts through rich food really well. Not the kind of wine I'd just sip on its own but with food it really comes alive.
Fine but not blown away
The wine shop guy recommended this and it's perfectly drinkable. Good acidity and decent depth but for what you're paying I expected a bit more wow factor. Not bad, just not special enough for the price tag.
Solid red, bit steep though
Nice wine, well balanced and interesting enough to keep you paying attention. But £34 is a lot when there are plenty of good reds around for £20. I'd grab it on offer but probably not at full price.
Birthday treat that delivered
Got this as a birthday present to myself and really enjoyed it. There's proper complexity in here — every sip I noticed something different. The finish lingers in a really pleasant way without being heavy. At 14% it packs a punch too so pace yourself!
Decent everyday red if you can afford it
Saw this on a restaurant menu and liked it enough to track down a bottle for home. It's well made and everything works together nicely. I just wish it was closer to £25 — at that price it'd be a no-brainer.
Digby have nailed it
Absolutely loved this. The balance is spot on — fruity but not jammy, firm but not harsh. I keep going back to smell it because the nose is so expressive. One of the better reds I've had this year honestly.
