DI Wine
Red 14% ABV ABV DI WineKeeps pulling you back
I'm not great at describing wine but there's something about this one where you just keep going back for another sip. The flavours sort of build slowly rather than hitting you all at once. Had it with a steak and it was brilliant. The finish lingers in a really nice way.
Nice but a bit steep
Got this for a Friday night in and it's a perfectly good red, don't get me wrong. Clean finish, pleasant enough. But £35 is a lot for what it is — I've had wines at half the price that I've enjoyed just as much.
Decent everyday-ish red
Saw this on a restaurant menu and liked it enough to track down a bottle. It's well made and the acidity stops it feeling too boozy despite the 14%. Not sure I'd call it everyday at nearly £35 but it's a reliable pick if you want something a step up from the usual.
Really solid red
Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. Really smooth and well balanced — the fruit kind of sneaks up on you which I liked. At 14% you'd expect it to be a bit heavy but it's not at all. Would definitely buy again.
Great dinner party wine
Brought this to a friend's birthday dinner and it went down really well with the lamb. Lovely clear aromas when you pour it and it kept getting better as the evening went on. Not cheap but it feels like a proper bottle of wine.
