Devaux D Rosé NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV DevauxWow this is gorgeous
Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered a glass first to try — immediately ordered a bottle to take home. The nose is so expressive, you get loads going on before you even taste it. Layers of flavour that kept surprising me. My new go-to for when I want to impress people.
Birthday treat that delivered
Got this as a birthday present to myself and honestly no regrets. Really lovely pink champagne — smells amazing straight away and tastes proper complex, not just fizzy and sweet like some rosé champagnes I've had. At £69.50 it's not cheap but it felt like a genuine treat.
Good but the price stings a bit
Look, it's a nice champagne. Clean, balanced, keeps you coming back for more sips. But nearly seventy quid? I've had bottles at £40-45 that got me just as excited. Would I buy it again on offer? Definitely. Full price? Probably not.
Solid rosé champagne
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something a bit special for a dinner party. It went down really well — nice crisp acidity and the fruit flavours are there but not overdone. Everyone kept going back for another glass which says it all really.
Perfect for a summer evening
Had this on the patio with some nibbles and it was just lovely. Not too heavy at 12.5%, really refreshing with a bit of depth to it. The finish lingers nicely without being overpowering. Devaux clearly know what they're doing with rosé champagne.
