Herbert Muller - Decent, not mind-blowing

Saw this online and fancied trying something different. It's a well-made wine for sure — nice dark berry flavours and a clean finish. I just expected a bit more complexity at this price point. Would probably reach for something else next time but no complaints really.

Dmitri Volkov - Proper treat of a Malbec

Bought this for my wife's birthday dinner and we were both really impressed. The dark fruit flavours are gorgeous and it just kept getting better as it sat in the glass. At £46 it's not an everyday bottle but for a special occasion it's worth every penny.

Isla McCallister - Really grew on me

First glass I thought it was fine, nothing special. But honestly by the second pour it had opened up loads and the fruit was way more interesting. Had it with a slow-cooked beef stew and it was a brilliant match. Would definitely get again if I spotted it on offer.

Connor McBride - Nice but steep price

Got this on a recommendation from my local wine shop. It's a solid Malbec — smooth tannins, good structure, and the finish makes you want to keep drinking. Bit pricey for what it is though, I've had similar quality Argentine Malbecs for half the cost.

Yuki Nakamura - Best Malbec I've had in ages

Absolutely loved this. It's got real depth to it without being one of those heavy reds that wipes out your taste buds. There's a freshness to it that keeps it drinkable, and at 14% you do need to pace yourself a bit! Brought a bottle to a dinner party and everyone was asking where I got it.
