Annika Svensson VIPsAllowed - Incredible wine but hard to justify the price
8/10

Tried this at a restaurant and it's genuinely brilliant — layers of flavour that keep unfolding the more you sit with it. Really clean finish too. But £230 for a bottle is steep and I'm not sure it's twice as good as wines at half the price. Would I order it again on someone else's tab? In a heartbeat.

Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Very good but I expected more
7/10

Got this as a birthday present and had high hopes given the price tag. It's a solid wine — nice depth, long finish, well made for sure. But honestly I was expecting to be blown away and it was more of a slow burner. Maybe I needed to give it more time to open up. Would probably try it again before making a final call.

Sara Lindstrom VIPsAllowed - The magnum format is the way to go
9/10

The wine shop guy steered me toward the magnum and said it ages even better in the larger format. At 14% it's got some power but it never feels heavy or boozy. Really expressive on the nose — you can smell it from across the table. Paired it with a slow-cooked beef shin and it was perfect.

Tariq Hassan VIPsAllowed - Worth every penny for a special night
9/10

Bought the magnum for our 10th anniversary dinner and wow, it did not disappoint. The nose hit you straight away — dark fruit, really intense but not over the top. We kept going back to it all evening and it just got better and better in the glass. At £230 it's not an everyday bottle but for a big occasion? Absolutely.

Valentina Ricci VIPsAllowed - Best Valpolicella I've ever had
10/10

My mate brought this to a dinner party and I've been thinking about it since. Seriously structured wine — the fruit and acidity are just perfectly balanced, nothing fighting for attention. The finish goes on forever in the best way. I've had a lot of Valpolicella and this Dal Forno is on another level entirely.
