Idris Ibrahim VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my wife's birthday dinner and we both loved it. Really rich and fruity but not heavy despite being 14% — we killed the bottle without even noticing. Proper Burgundy vibes, felt like a special occasion wine.

Daniel Torres VIPsAllowed - Great with lamb
8/10

Had this with a slow-cooked lamb shoulder and it was a perfect match. The fruit is really clean and there's a lovely depth to it that keeps you coming back for another sip. Antoine Lienhardt is a name I'm going to remember.

I'm still pretty new to Burgundy but trying to learn. This was complex without being intimidating — lots of layers of fruit that kind of unfold as you drink it. Poured a second glass before I'd even finished cooking. Will definitely explore more from this producer.

Marianne Blom VIPsAllowed - Decent dinner party wine
7/10

Brought this to a dinner party and it went down well. Nice structure, not too tannic, easy to drink even though it's 14%. A couple of friends asked what it was which is always a good sign. Personally I think there's better value out there but no complaints.

Marco Andretti VIPsAllowed - Good but bit pricey for what it is
7/10

Nice enough red, smooth and well balanced with decent fruit. But at nearly £70 I expected a bit more wow factor. I've had cheaper Burgundies that stuck with me more. Would probably not rebuy at this price.

Connor McBride VIPsAllowed - Wow this is proper stuff

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and took a punt. So glad I did. You can smell it the second you pour it — confident and fruity without being jammy. The finish just lingers and lingers. Tracked down a bottle to buy for home the next day.

Hannah Brooks VIPsAllowed - Solid Burgundy, not cheap though
8/10

The wine shop guy steered me toward this when I said I wanted something from Côte de Nuits that wasn't going to bankrupt me. It's expressive and layered, lots going on in the glass. £67 is still a lot but honestly it drinks like it's worth it.
