Kai Oliveira VIPsAllowed - Really impressed with this one
8/10

Bought this for a dinner party and it went down a storm. Loads of dark berry fruit and a nice earthy thing going on underneath. Tannins are smooth enough that you don't need to decant it for ages. At £38.50 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a special meal.

Aria Kim VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
8/10

Got this as a birthday present to myself and I'm glad I did. Proper dark fruit — blackberry jam vibes — with a lovely clean finish. The tannins are firm but not harsh at all. I don't know much about Haut-Medoc but this has made me want to explore more from the region.

Derek Chang VIPsAllowed - Nice but a bit much for the price
6/10

The wine shop guy recommended this and it's decent — dark cherry flavours, bit of spice, nicely put together. But for nearly forty quid I expected something that'd blow me away and it didn't quite get there. Would probably pick something else at this price point.

Celeste Moreno VIPsAllowed - Solid Haut-Medoc
7/10

Had this with a slow-cooked beef stew and it was a great match. Really liked the blackcurrant and that sort of woodsy, earthy quality it has. Not a massive heavy wine either which I appreciated — easy to have a couple of glasses without feeling wiped out.
