Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Solid birthday treat
7/10

Got this as a little birthday treat for myself. Really aromatic when you pour it, almost floral which I wasn't expecting from a red. The tannins are firm but not drying and there's a lovely warmth on the finish. Half bottle was actually perfect for one person over dinner.

Grace Kim VIPsAllowed - Great with lamb
8/10

Had this with a slow-cooked lamb shoulder and it was spot on. 14% so it's got some weight to it but it doesn't taste boozy or jammy at all. Clean finish that keeps you going back for more. The half bottle format is handy when it's just me and my partner midweek.

Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Really impressed with this
8/10

Bought the half bottle to try with a steak dinner and wished I'd gone for the full size. Lovely dark fruit flavours and it's got that proper Bordeaux structure without being too heavy. At £22 for a half bottle it's not cheap but it genuinely tastes like a serious Margaux.

Kenji Watanabe VIPsAllowed - Nice but a bit steep for half a bottle
6/10

The wine shop recommended this and it's perfectly fine — good dark fruit, nice acidity, drinks well. But £22 for a half bottle means you're paying £44 equivalent for a full one, and I think there are better options at that price. Would probably try something else next time.
