Ayako Hirano VIPsAllowed - Lovely birthday bubbles
7/10

My husband got me this for my birthday and it was really special. Beautiful pink colour and you get this gorgeous baked apple and biscuity thing going on. Definitely a treat bottle — not something I'd buy every week at that price but perfect for celebrations.

5/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was pleasant enough. Some nice fruity flavours and good fizz but £72 is steep when you can get cracking champagne for £40. Wouldn't buy it myself.

Daisy Miller VIPsAllowed - Decent Pinot Noir champagne

Saw this on a restaurant menu and thought I'd try it. It's well made — you can tell it's spent some time ageing with those biscuity notes. The chalky mineral thing is interesting. Not bad at all but at this price point I expected to be a bit more blown away.

Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Goes down dangerously easy

Brought this to a dinner party and everyone commented on it. Really smooth with stone fruit and pastry flavours — almost dessert-like but not sweet if that makes sense. The citrus at the end stops it being too rich. Would buy again for a special occasion.

Luna Chavez VIPsAllowed - Solid rosé champagne
6/10

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. It's got a lovely toasty depth to it and the acidity keeps it fresh rather than heavy. I liked the almond finish too. Good but not sure it's worth the premium over other rosé champagnes I've had.
