Olivia Wong VIPsAllowed - Nice but bit pricey for what it is
7/10

It's a good champagne, don't get me wrong. Clean, citrusy, pleasant almond thing on the finish. But for nearly fifty quid I think you can find similar quality for less. Would happily drink it again if someone else was buying though.

Freya Lindqvist VIPsAllowed - Perfect for our anniversary dinner
8/10

Had this with seafood starters and it was great — the acidity cuts through rich food really well. My wife noticed the brioche notes before I did, which she was very smug about. We finished the bottle embarrassingly fast.

Sibel Nur VIPsAllowed - This is what champagne should taste like
9/10

I've been slowly working my way through different champagnes and this Lallier is one of the best I've had under £50. There's proper complexity here, layers of apple and citrus that keep things interesting. The finish is dry and clean and just makes you want another sip.

Zara Al-Hassan VIPsAllowed - Solid champagne, would buy again
8/10

The wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something a step up from Moët but not crazy money. It's got a nice mineral, almost chalky dryness to it that I really liked. Good balance between fruity and fresh. £49.95 feels about right for the quality.

Penelope Hart VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the evening. Really crisp with lovely apple flavours and a bit of that bready thing good champagne does. At fifty quid it's not cheap but it felt genuinely special, not just expensive for the sake of it.

Mei-Lin Wu VIPsAllowed - Decent, expected a bit more though
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and ordered a bottle. It's perfectly fine champagne — crisp, some nice fruit, flinty sort of edge to it. Just didn't blow me away the way I hoped at this price point. I'd say it's a safe crowd-pleaser for a dinner party but nothing that'll have people asking where you got it.
