Champagne Gounel Lassalle Rose 29 Parcelles 1er Cru Brut Nature
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Gounel LassalleNice but pricey
Got this as a birthday present and it's good, don't get me wrong. Really clean finish and the fruit flavours are lovely. But £60 is a lot and I'm not sure it's twice as good as a £30 bottle. If someone else is buying though, absolutely crack on.
Converted me to rosé champagne
I normally stick to regular champagne but this has changed my mind about rosé. It's not sweet at all which I was worried about. The flavours are really well defined and it just makes you want to keep sipping. 12.5% ABV so it's not going to knock you sideways either.
Stunning bottle
Treated myself after a promotion and no regrets. From the first pour you can smell how good this is going to be — confident and expressive without being over the top. The acidity and fruit are perfectly balanced and it just gets better as it sits in the glass. This is what champagne should taste like.
Wow, this stuff is special
Bought this for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely the right call. The bubbles are super fine and there's this lovely red fruit thing going on that just keeps going. No added sugar apparently and you can tell — it's dry but not harsh at all. At sixty quid it's not cheap but for a special occasion rosé champagne? Worth every penny.
Best rosé champagne I've had
Picked this up after reading about zero dosage champagnes and wanting to try one. So glad I did. It smells amazing straight out the bottle — didn't need to wait around for it to open up or anything. Genuinely complex stuff and it paired brilliantly with the salmon we had.
Solid champagne, bit steep
Saw this on a restaurant wine list and looked it up later to buy a bottle myself. It's proper good — really balanced and the finish lingers nicely. My only gripe is the price point, there's a lot of competition around £40-50 that gets close. Still, it's a cut above your average fizz.
Really impressed
The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something a bit different from the usual Moët. It's got proper depth to it, not just pink and fizzy like some rosé champagnes. Love that it keeps developing as you drink it. Would definitely buy again.
Great for a dinner party
Served this at a dinner party last weekend and everyone commented on it. It's dry but fruity at the same time if that makes sense? The 1er Cru thing means it's from really good vineyards apparently. Went down very well with the starter and the cheese course.
